Usage Instructions of Homemade Pepper Curry Masala:
Ingredients:
- 500g of your favorite meat, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons Kairusi Pepper Curry Masala
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Kairusi Homemade Turmeric Powder
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
- Preparation:
- Clean and wash the meat pieces. Pat dry with a paper towel.
- Cooking the Base:
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a couple of minutes until the raw smell disappears.
- Adding Tomatoes and Spices:
- Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and start to break down.
- Stir in the Kairusi Pepper Curry Masala and Kairusi Homemade Turmeric Powder. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the spices are well blended with the tomatoes.
- Cooking the Meat:
- Add the meat pieces to the pan. Stir well to coat the meat with the spice mixture.
- Cook the meat on medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it starts to brown.
- Simmering:
- Add enough water to cover the meat. Season with salt to taste.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the meat is tender and cooked through. Stir occasionally and add more water if needed.
- Finishing Touches:
- Once the meat is cooked and the curry has thickened, adjust the seasoning if needed.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
